I worked with Run4It and Ground Level Up on a video and photography campaign for the launch of a couple of new running shoes. Apart from the weather, it was a great shoot.
This campaign involved taking lifestyle images for Run4It, a running equipment company with shops across Scotland.
Run4It, a Scottish-based running gear company, wanted to produce a series of high-quality lifestyle images for the launch of the new Saucony trail running shoes. This shoot was in collaboration with video experts, Ground Level Up, who produced several key videos for the campaign.
The primary focus for the campaign was on video production so I wanted to create stills images that mirrored the script as closely as possible. I wanted to convey a rugged yet reliable feeling through the images while using the closer shots to focus on the product details. All of the images used natural light because I was often shooting around the videographer, requiring flexibility and quick thinking.
Run4It was provided with a range of images from wide to closeups that really help to sell the shoe. Each image is very engaging for its target audience and allows the viewer to feel more connected to the brand and the product. Run4It used the images across the launch campaign including use on social media, email newsletters, and on the website.
